1. Acceptance
These terms are an agreement between you and J&P Global LLC, doing business as KnowLay ("KnowLay", "we", "us"). By creating an account, buying a product or using www.knowlay.com, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Eligibility and accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- You sign in with Google. You are responsible for the security of that account and for all activity under your KnowLay account.
- Accounts are personal. Do not share access or let others use your enrollments.
- Give accurate information and keep it current.
3. The service
KnowLay provides self-paced video courses, bundles and memberships, quizzes, AI-assisted coaching and booked sessions with human experts. Features, courses and prices may change. Some lessons unlock only after earlier lessons are completed or on a release date.
4. Purchases and memberships
- Prices are shown in US dollars unless stated otherwise. Taxes may apply.
- Payments are made through PayPal. Access is granted after we confirm your payment, which may take some time.
- Memberships renew automatically each billing period until you cancel. You authorize us to charge the renewal through your PayPal account.
- You can cancel a membership at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and access continues until then.
5. Refunds
All sales are final, except where a refund right cannot be waived under the law that applies to you. We do not refund past billing periods when you cancel. Coaching sessions that are missed, or cancelled late or at short notice, are forfeited.
If you were charged in error, tell us within 30 days and we will correct it. Please contact us before you start a chargeback.
6. Content license
All courses, videos, text, quizzes, logos and software are owned by KnowLay or its instructors and are protected by copyright and other laws. While you have access, we grant you a limited, personal, non-commercial, non-transferable and revocable license to view the content you are entitled to.
You may not copy, download, record, resell, share, publish or redistribute the content, or use it to build or train a competing product or service.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Break the law or infringe the rights of others.
- Bypass lesson locks, payment checks or video protection.
- Probe, overload or interfere with the site or its security.
- Use bots or scrapers, or collect data about other users.
- Harass others or post unlawful or harmful material.
8. AI coaching and results
AI coaching and course content are for education and general information. They are not legal, financial, medical or other professional advice. AI output can be wrong or incomplete, so check anything important. We do not guarantee any result, income, career outcome or certification from using KnowLay.
9. Third-party services
The service relies on providers such as Google, PayPal and Bunny.net. Their own terms and privacy policies apply to your use of their services, and we are not responsible for them.
10. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, misuse the service or put it at risk. You may stop using KnowLay at any time. Sections that by nature should survive termination, including licenses, disclaimers, liability and governing law, will survive.
11. Disclaimer
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free service.
12. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, KnowLay is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
13. Indemnity
You agree to defend and compensate KnowLay for claims, losses and costs arising from your misuse of the service or your breach of these terms or the law.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict of law rules. Disputes go to the state or federal courts located in Houston, Harris County, Texas, unless consumer protection law in your country requires otherwise.
15. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Continuing to use KnowLay after a change means you accept it.
